A Tough Woman's prayer

 

 

Heavenly Father,

 

You are my strength.  It is you who gives me the stamina to try again when I think I have tried every possible door.  It is you who reminds me that I'm not alone when I feel that I'm carrying the burdens of the world.  You lift me up again and strengthen my resolve to take another look, try another path, meet another challenge.

 

If any would call me strong, then I grateful.  I know that sometimes I look much stronger than I feel and that I try to act stronger than my belief in what is happening around me.   Though, I belief in certain ideas or situations may falter, my faith does not.

 

I am steadfast in you and I hang on to your promises and your goodness and your plans for my life.  I rest in you, Lord, remembering that in your time, you will raise me up and past any obstacle I face.  I pray with my heart of thanksgiving.
